The course offered by Corona Institute is a complete hands on training session on vmware Virtualization and the curriculum is indegenously developed by corona institute and naturally  inspired by the official curriculum of vmware vshpere 4.1  and 5.x

Virtualization with VMware  VSphere 4.1 and 5  with Install , configure Manage and much beyond

What is Virtualization -Introduction to virtualization with comparison of Microsoft , SUN and VMware methods of virtualization.

Installing and configuring vmware workstation , sun virtual box and microsoft virtual PC to get the basic ideas of Virtualization.  Rather than a Boot camp that cover only the examination , it is a detailed practical session on server management with the theoretical and practical approach to server management.. Starting from the basic hardware details of the server like form factors and physical aspects , we reach you to a point where you will be confident to discuss about RAID systems , SCSI management , backup solutions and disaster recovery. In addition to the hardware aspects of the server  it also make you confident in installation and management of all the leading NOS in the market.

Installation and configuration of ESX and ESXi, vmware Vcenter Server , Vcenter Server components , installation and configuration of standard and distributed switches , Storage and VM  Vmotion, designing the network configuration , Accessing the IP storage and managing the VMFS Datastore , using templates and clones for creating virtual machines , Access control and resource pools ,VDR and other vApps, web based administration of ESXI server ,  Performance monitoring and alarms, Data recovery procedure using appliances , installing and configuring appliances , Distributed resource scheduler , Distributed power management , HA ( high availability ) , Fault tolerance and update manager .

Optional free session on Microsoft Networking and Redhat Linux commands is included for those who wish to get a quick review of their Microsoft and Linux skill sets.
